Abe the Mudokon

For those of you who do not know, this is a picture of Abe, my video game hero of all time. I first discovered this blue guy when I went over to my cousin's friend's house and she had a video game called Abe's Oddysee. I was really hooked into it. I never knew it was called Abe's Oddysee at the time, not until I bought the Playstation Magazine. I know there are people out there who love either Sonic or Mario, but Abe is the guy that I could relate to. He used to work as a janitor in this industrial meat factory called Rupture Farms. He knew there was something going on with his boss, Molluck the Glukkon and decides to run for his life. Later on, he realises that saving his brethren is the only way that could set him and his fallen Mudokon siblings free from the Glukkons.

I know that Abe is not as popular as Sonic and Mario as of today, but he has aged very well for an average Joe and has inspired me to create my own characters and the world they inhabit. All hats off to Lorne Lanning and Oddworld Inhabitants. I am looking forward to the new Oddworld Game New N' Tasty later on this year.
